Social Media Marketing:  Services Offered

Social Media Marketing:  Every business should be supporting their marketing activity and website with a social media campaign even if you are a one man band.  Social media marketing drives online visibility and allows you to have a one to one dialogue with your prospective and existing customers.  It creates visibility for your company on line and increases your backlinks thus driving traffic to your website.  Using tools like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Flickr, YouTube, Posterous, article syndication sites and online PR distribution sites you can increase your marketing ROI and increase sales.

Training on Social Media: I'm often asked to train clients on a one to one basis or in small groups as it makes it easier for clients to understand social media applications and get the most out of them.  Please contact me directly jane@therightwriter.co.uk to find out how you can learn more about social media.

Online Public Relations:  The advent of social media has offered new life to public relations activity making it easier to reach on and off line publishers and get your story in print. There are many FREE press release distribution sites that you can use now and a blog post can be lengthened to double up as an article or press release if your social media writer understands the applications correctly.

Online content: With the advent of Google’s Caffeine, unique, quality content is becoming vital. Overall Page quality will now play a far greater role in how your page ranks. Google are doing everything they can to ensure that they offer a quality product which means they need to keep the SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) current, fast loading and relevant with very high quality content. What does this mean to you? On page factors will play a far bigger role. Page design, navigation, title, meta tags, description, keyword density, alt tags, page views, bounce rate, traffic numbers, time spent on page, and the most important? Quality Unique Content!

Blogs: Businesses are only now coming to recognise the important role that a blog plays in your online offering. In fact most online pundits say that blogs are the new websites and static sites will become obsolete as the fight for quality heightens. Visitors to your website want updated information and that means changing content regularly.  A blog also forms the hub of all your online activity.

Networking Platforms:  Online networking is a great boost to social media users and spreads your message to vast numbers of business leaders and entrepreneurs.  Networking online saves you time and money and often enhances your visibility via others social media activities.

Ezines: Ezines are evolved emails/newsletters but with a shortened version of the story. A good ezine article will engage and lead the reader to a landing page or blog where they can be tracked and data extrapolated on their visit and expectation. They should be sent at regular intervals to gain recognition and trust and there again, unique and relevant content is essential.

Articles: Seeding online is of paramount importance in any web campaign and can be achieved quite easily with a series of well written, well placed articles that subtly promote your business.

Tweets: Twitter is here to stay. Love it or hate it this newish app to the web is formidable in its ability to set new trends and create waves. Re-tweeting is the latest craze and it certainly hikes up your rankings!

Social Media Applications: There are many other social applications liked LinkedIn and Facebook but it takes time to keep track of them and understand how to syndicate to them easily and effectively to ensure that your message filters through. Again content is the key along with a sound knowledge of syndications applications to ensure results.

Forums: Forums and polls make up a large percentage of trend indications and need to be handled with tact and delicacy, with topics fed in regularly that explore your marketing message and offer you direction and insight. A good writer can manage that for you and compile monthly reports that offer you insight into what your market really thinks!

Campaigns: Each application has its use but without careful management the results can be lost instead of used to offer insight. Like the threads in a giant spider’s web, each of the above mentioned applications need to be used in conjunction to achieve the desired effect.
